She nods because even though Steph honestly isn't getting any pressure from Kate to get back on her own feet as soon as possible, Kate knows that if the tables were turned, she'd be wanting to give back somehow. Sitting back and letting somebody else do all the work just isn't in either one of them.

The train arrives with a hard breeze that threatens to blow the curls right out of Kate's hair. As the door opens, she moves away from Steph to push down some of the rogue strands. "My mom and the other people did most of the cooking. I did the serving and the cleanup and then at home, we had a private chef. Plus I had too many after school activities to learn in between them, school, and helping my mom."
