"She brought her gun to the meeting?" he asks, raising an eyebrow. "I suppose she's lucky the Militia didn't frisk her." There's no small amount of bitterness in his voice there. Rex hasn't had any run-ins with them personally, but he isn't the Militia's biggest fan. Police states aren't generally a concern of his, but the transmissions from a few months ago hit a nerve with him. "Anyway. Thanks for talking to her, giving her some kind of idea how to conduct herself. I know you're not exactly running a charity for unemployed women here."
