Who: Cindy and Irene
What: Drinking like the badasses that they are
Where: After Dark
When: After dark! ...hahaha
Warnings: Cussing and sexual references, most likely. We're dealing with Cindy and Irene here.

Free stuff is something Cindy never turns down, especially free alcohol. At least the company's worth it--Irene Adler--and there's no pressure to put out at the end of the night. With her hair up in a low chignon and in her nighttime best, Cindy camps out at the bar both to keep an eye on the door and the other on the bartender who keeps grinning at her like a lovesick fool. Men. Her ears are perked to any overheard comments and business deals she can use for leverage in the future.

Even when she's out for fun, Cindy is working. It's just how she gets off.

And the same is true for Irene, whose work-work is admittedly specialised but whose habit of intelligence-gathering simply can't be switched off.

Nor does she have the option of not making an entrance, which is just fine by her. She saunters in in silver and black with her hair twisted up into a deceptively simple-looking updo. There are the obvious remnants of a week spent fighting monsters- bruises mostly noticable on her left side and a stitches in her left arm which haven't quite dissolved- but after a few unsuccessful attempts with makeup, she decided to refuse to let them get in the way of wearing what she wants to wear.

She gets stopped on the way by a man- a patron at the Vault- who dares to say hello, but doesn't linger beyond an amused look and a hello, you. She's got more interesting people to talk to, such as-

"Hullo, darling," she coos, putting her clutch on the bar and producing crisp notes from it. "Is this the part where we pretend to be strangers to spice up our relationship?"

Joking. Honestly. In the grand scheme of things they've barely talked, which is what Irene finds so amusing- but you've got to bond with someone you've stripped in front of for the sake of making a point.
