Shrieky flails his hands a little wildly, in an attempt to catch the falling gum. Instead what happens is that it lands on his chest with a little 'pap' sound. Manticore gives a little sound of sorrow at the loss of Megan's shoe, and rolls over, it's big, furry body swallowing up the gum.

Shrieky searches through it's fur for a few minutes before giving up. He'll get it later, when Manticore rolls in a different direction.

"That's right. I know most of the monsters were bad, but he was just lost and far away from home, like the rest of us."
