Ilde raises an eyebrow, which would look more arch if she actually lifted her head off her arm to do it in the first place. As it is, she just looks like a tired fairy child with an attitude problem, which-- actually isn't always so far off the mark.

"I was away for a few days," she says, a little vaguely. "That sounds absurd."

But she's been living in Baedal long enough to have a fair idea of what it probably means.
