He gasps, and leans forward, curving in on himself slightly at he stares at her, eyes wide and fixated. On closer inspection, there are clearly differences between them. Even between what she is now and what he once was. He can't see any gills on her throat, and with her too, too dark eyes and smooth skin, she looks less human than he ever has.
