It was uncomfortable and mollifying to find out that his apartment building had been saved thanks to Militia intervention - it was their swift application of technology that kept the river in Creekside from caving in, and their widespread wards that have kept all the horrors out since. It's still not the safest ever, but it's secure. Jae's not entirely sure if he has it in him to be any kind of anarchist revolutionary, but he isn't a fan of the Militia; and yet in this crisis, the deep necessity for that kind of entity within Baedal is clear.
