Jae doesn't want to seem ungrateful, but he doesn't know how to express what he's feeling, either. How do you say thank you for that? There's not a Hallmark card or a traditional gift basket. Part of him kind of wants to tackle Sunny and kiss him until neither of them can breathe like that would somehow squish all of his emotions into the other man and not result in him getting clocked or something but - he knows that's just some kind of Superman syndrome talking in his head, starry-eyed at his savior. (The other part, for the record, wants to crawl in a hole and die, so-)
