Coughing all that up isn't glamorous, but it's worlds better than not being able to. His hands shake against Sunny's, not out of fear but trembling shock and tiredness. It strikes Jae harder than he expected that he isn't afraid, but he doesn't know if it's because he's too dead tired to be frightened or if he's just past his point of desensitized no return. A memory of long ago swirls in the back of his mind, looking with blurry eyes at the other man, but it doesn't solidify. He's too tired.
